Do I have to get permits?

Signature Signs is required to have proof of permit before installing a sign. If you are requesting our installation services, a permit must be obtained.

Permits can be obtained two ways.
1. Signature Signs can set up the paperwork and obtain the permit.
2. You can obtain your own permits.


My uncle says he put up his sign without getting permits. Why can't I do the same?

We have no control over what you do with your sign after you pick it up from our facility. If you do not want to get permits, we can absolutely produce your sign or signs for you, but we can not install them without proof of permit.


How much will my permit cost?

Permit costs depend on the size of sign, the type of sign, and the installation of the sign.


Do I have to get a permit for my Banner or A-Frame Sign? It's just temporary!

You are supposed to obtain a permit for all signage, no matter what it is. There are specific permits for temporary signage.
